Boxmasters Sign With APA Nashville

FOURTH ALBUM, 'SOMEWHERE DOWN THE ROAD', TO BE RELEASED LATER THIS YEAR

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 12, 2015) – The Boxmasters, the one-of-a-kind eclectic band whose many musical influences come together to create their own unique sound, has signed with APA.  Their upcoming fourth album, entitled Somewhere Down The Road, is set to be released later this year.  The band is comprised of Teddy Andreadis, who has shared the stage with such legendary artists asGuns N’ Roses, Carole King, Alice Cooper, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddleyand B.B. King, has also served as a long-time counselor/mentor at Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy camps, and released his solo album, “Innocent Loser,” in 2012; Grammy-winning engineer, J.D. Andrew, whose worked with such icons as The Rolling Stones, Guy Clark and Kanye West; Nashville singer/songwriter Brad Davis, who has shared the microphone with the likes of Merle Haggard, Sheryl Crow and Kenny Rogers; and Bud (a.k.a. Billy Bob) Thornton who, in addition to his successful film and television career, has recorded four solo albums, as well as tribute records to Earl Scruggs and June Carter Cash.

“We’re really looking forward to bringing their live show throughout the U.S. in 2015 and beyond,” commented Steve Lassiter, SVP/Partner and Head of Concerts at APA Nashville.  “All of us at APA are very excited to take their extraordinary music to another level and celebrate the release of their forthcoming album this year.”

Previous album releases from The Boxmasters include their self-titled debut in 2007, “Christmas Cheer” in 2008, and “Modbilly” in 2009.  Their music has also appeared in “The Winning Season” (2009) feature film starring Sam Rockwell and Emma Roberts, and on HBO’s “Weeds”.  They’ve also opened for such legendary acts asWillie Nelson, Ray Price and Levon Helm, and have performed at theAll For The Hall benefit for the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Sundance Music Festival.

One additional fun fact about The Boxmasters is that they are avid and exceptional bowlers who once famously defeated Def Leppard in head-to-head competition in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
