A NEW WORLD ARISE
For those of us that know COLDSPELL, we know that they are not just a great band from Sweden, we know what a power house melodic rock band they are! We have all been waiting anxiously for their new album to come out and it’s finally here.This is the fourth album from this amazing band. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing my brothers from the land of ice a snow for about six years and make sure to get out to see them each time they have come to the states to play. Unlike a lot of bands these days, this band sounds amazing live.
Getting to the new album, “A NEW WORLD ARISE” and the subsequent video of “CALL OF THE WILD” you can see that the writing process is in full form with these amazing artists. The songs on this album might be some of the best songs the band has written so far. Songs like CALL OF THE WILD will take even the most hardened rock fan to new levels of excitement. Follow that up with powerful songs such as FOREVER MORE. A NEW WORLD ARISE, GET TO THE TOP, THIS IS ME, WAIT TILL TOMORROW & SIGNS and you have the makings of one hell of a LP! This album it is a true rock journey for me and all of the fans of this great band. Don’t get me wrong, the previous albums the band has produced were sonic masterpieces as well. (INFINITE STARGAZE, FROZEN PARADISE and OUT FROM THE COLD) These are Melodic Rock Fan, “Must Haves.”
I have been a fan of ColdSpell since I first heard epic songs like “HERO’S” and “NIGHT FALLS” AND many many more. This new album is equally as strong as its predecessors. The musicianship on the newest release is evident from the first song. How many of us have said to ourselves what happened to all the great music from back in the day? Well I’m here to tell you it is here again. ColdSpell’s new album will foster back those memories from back in the day.
