On December 2, 2016, newly formed, Eternal Idol, released their debut album, The Unrevealed Secret under the Frontiers Music Srl label (so you know even before the first track that it’s going to be a stellar show). This Italian rock ensemble has stormed onto the symphonic rock scene like a boss! Not to be confused with the 1987 album entitled “Eternal Idol” by Black Sabbath, which in among itself is a fabulous album, but I digress…) The Unrevealed Secret is filled with a collection of beautifully arranged adventures in melodic and symphonic rock. Almost every track is a long playing, five minutes or more; the kind of music that encourages you to pour yourself a glass of superb vintage red wine, close your eyes, sit back and drink it all in!
Eternal Idol evolved from guitarist, Nick Savio’s, Hallow Haze project that also includes 21 year old, vocal powerhouse Giorgia Colleluori, drummer, Camillo Colleluori and Rhapsody of Fire and Agra singer, Fabio Lione. Hallow Haze is still an active project that has produced and released six albums between 2006 and 2015.
The Unrevealed Secret was conceived and born of a collaboration of seasoned professional artists, whose talents cross-over as writers (Fabio Savio), producers (Nick Savio) and mixed by Simone Mularoni (DGM, Sunstorm). The album is filled with poetic lyrics, high energy classic rock with Nick’s soaring solos (Evil Tears, Awake in Orion), the haunting harmonies of Giorgia and Fabio (Another Night Comes, Awake in Orion) and a full bodied symphonic flavor throughout courtesy of Nick. It is a collection of talent and music that never becomes tiresome. It is classic and timeless, just like that glass of vintage red wine that is meant to be savored and sipped wholly and slowly.
