Recently we caught up with Dave Friedman the owner of Friedman Amplification to discuss his vision for the line of Friedman Amps. In the world of digital amp modeling amps Dave has stayed true to the old ways. Hand wired tube amps with Tone for days.

Dave got his start making custom effects boards for the icons of the music industry. From the constant complaining of artists that were looking for monster tone at low volume and high volume he started making custom pedals and then eventually into the finest amps made with huge tone with lots of head room. While coming up with some of the finest amps in the music business and collaborating with Artists like Steve Stevens, Jerry Cantrell, Phil-X, and many many more to get that perfect tone! He also designed some of the finest effects pedals that are also made by hand.

At this year’s NAMM Show I was able to try several of his new combo amps as well as his lineup of effects pedals and was blown away by the quality of each item.
