In addition to being considered for a development deal with Island Records, finalists will compete for a spot on the bill at the Hard Rock Rising Barcelona global music festival, featuring headline performances by Kings of Leon, Avicii, Lenny Kravitz, Juanes, Robbie Williams and more!
This year’s celebrity judging panel included the E Street Band’s Steven Van Zandt, legendary rocker and Poison frontman, Bret Michaels; Mumford & Sons’ bassist, Ted Dwane; Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie; lead vocalist and guitarist for Frightened Rabbit, Scott Hutchinson; Canadian pop multi-instrumentalist, Lights; bassist of the Taiwanese band Mayday, Masa; and Maps & Atlases’ Shiraz Dada.
