Maryland’s award-winning destination resort on the Chesapeake Bay, The Chesapeake Resort & Spa, announced their 2017 “Rock the Dock” live music series with an extraordinary roster of famous acts. Performances are being held nearly every night through Labor Day Weekend.
Headliners for this year’s “Rock the Dock” include country artists such as the chart-topping, award-winning country legend Ricky Skaggs and Academy of Country Music Breakthrough Artist nominee and #1 single producing Eli Young Band. Relive the rock of the 90’s with the Gin Blossoms, known for “Hey Jealousy” and “Til I Hear It From You”, and the Spin Doctors, of “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong” fame. Get in the mood with hit-making R&B group The Spinners, the vocal stylings of one of the most popular soul groups of the 70’s, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, the funky sounds of The Commodores, and one of the leaders of the Motown sound, The Four Tops.
Evoke the memories of your favorite classic bands and enjoy their greatest hits from the wide variety of tribute bands honoring some of the biggest names in music, including The Earth, Wind & Fire Tribute Band, Bruce Springsteen (Bruce in the USA), Jimmy Buffett (Caribbean Chillers), The Eagles (The Long Run), Led Zeppelin (Zoso), Fleetwood Mac (Second Hand News), AC/DC (High Voltage), Steely Dan (Technicolor Motor Home), The Everly Brothers (The Bird Dogs), and Elvis (Johnny Seaton).

Musical performances take place on the Resort’s unique “Band Shell” outdoor stage. The Rod N Reel restaurant is now offering new menu items to complement the beautiful bay backdrop and elegant ambiance. New items include a variety under “From the Steamer” for Seafood lovers. Enjoy steamed mussels, clams or shrimp and new vegetarian dishes.
