NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 16, 2015) – For over four decades, fans have come to depend upon Moe Bandy for their traditional country fix, and the singer is set to provide that trademark honky-tonk sound in concert throughout 2015. Today, the singer announces a new booking agreement with Battle Artist Agency, joining a list of artists that includes The Bellamy Brothers, Williams & Ree, Eddy Raven, Mickey Gilley, Earl Thomas Conley, and Gene Watson.

“Since we first hit with ‘I Just Started Hatin’ Cheatin Songs Today,’ the fans have been one of the most important aspects of my career,” says Bandy. “Getting back out on the road and taking their kind of country to them is what I’ve always been about, and I’m glad to be working with Battle Artist Agency in that endeavor. Rob Battle is one of the greats at what he does, so we are looking forward to letting him do what he does so well, so we can do what we do.”

Bandy followed up that first hit with several more in that traditional vein. Songs like “Barstool Mountain,” “Honky Tonk Amnesia,” and “Hank Williams, You Wrote My Life” helped to make him one of the most played male artists on the radio in the 1970s. He began a successful recording and touring partnership with Joe Stampley in 1979 with “Just Good Ol’ Boys,” that led to several awards from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. Other hits under the Bandy name include “Someday Soon” and the Kevin Welch standard “Till I’m Too Old To Die Young.” He is also a frequent guest on such TV Shows as Larry’s Country Diner and Country’s Family Reunion.

In a career that has seen him work with such heavyweights as The Oak Ridge Boys, Johnny Cash, and Hank Williams, Jr., Rob Battle knows “great” when he says it. He says Moe Bandy easily qualifies. “Moe Bandy is one of the most distinctive talents this industry has ever known,” he said. “He has always demonstrated an ability to bring his fans the music that they expect and long for, and this tour will be no exception. I’m just glad to be a part of it.”
