NEEDTOBREATHE – The Devil’s Has Been Talkin

It was another great Day for a concert at the Zoo Amphitheater in Oklahoma City, OK. The weather was a little hot and humid but it didn’t really bother me to much knowing that NEEDTOBREATHE was going to put on a great performance. I personally never had been to one of their concerts but my oldest daughter had seen them twice and every time, she would come home in total awe and just talk about how great the show was for Days.

The first opening act was Billy Raffoul, from Canada, he had great stage presence and put on a great performance. His smoky voice and catchy rhythms caught the full attention of the audience. I liked the tone of his voice and liked the songs so much that after the show I went on ITunes and downloaded them and I am sure other people attending did the same. He is a great artist and the crowd definitely was entertained.

The second opening act was Johnnyswim which is the duo of Amanda Sudano and Abner Ramirez. The great thing is that they don’t just perform together but they also are married. It is a special Day for Amanda because today is her 27th Birthday. We all from the Backstage360 magazine would like to wish Amanda a very happy Birthday!!! The couple was great together and it gave us all a chance to hear their amazing vocal harmonies and time flew by fast and before we realized it, it was time for Needtobreathe to take the stage.

Lights started flashing, the bassist started playing which filled the Amphitheatre, the crowd was submerged in the moment waiting for them start. With the buildup of energy in the air, “The devil’s has been talkin” started playing and the crowd radiated. The chemistry on stage was perfect and it was a lot of fun watching the band perform. The band members harmonized great together and between all the lights in the background, the chemistry, the harmony and the energy in the audience, a perfect moment was created. The band got the audience’s full attention from the moment they started their performance to the very last note they played. The band delivered more than people had expected and nobody left the show disappointed. When I saw my oldest daughter the next Day after the concert, I was able to talk about it just as much in awe as she had before and when you can do that, then you know you’ve seen a great show.
