Keith Moreland – PetShark
Pet Shark is a power trio of diverse and talented Orange County based musicians, lead by the gifted song-writer Keith Moreland on Guitar. Band mates include Ted Morton on Drums and Russ Reshaw on the Bass guitar.
Having only heard of this bands reputation as a live act we finally got to see them play “live” in support of their current outstanding release ‘Le Debut’ Pet Shark featured several cuts from the album we were in amazement. Pet Sharks blistering hour plus set showcased their unique ability to capture, mesmerize and rock a crowd with their original music.
Pet Shark’s enormous sound can be described as a melodic, fueled fusion of rock and roll and a mesmerizing sound.

The chemistry between the three musicians is outstanding and clearly demonstrates why they were at the top of a four-band support opening for the Michael Schenker Band. It didn’t take long for the crowd of Schenker fans to respond favorably to the Pet Shark Band. And I suspect adding scores of new fans along the way. They ended their set with a solid electrifying rendition from Pet Sharks current release titled ‘Letter from Home’.
It comes as no surprise to me that that they opened for some very heavy hitters in the music community!
