BackStage360 took a moment to speak with first time NAMM exhibitor, Daren Pfeifer, of Pfeifer Drum Company, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he was debuting his “September Series”, “Imperial Series” and “Generation Series” snare drums.

Daren opened his fledgling percussion manufacturing company in 2016.  In that short period of time, he has designed, modified, tested and released three gorgeous series of snare drums.

Daren has been drumming for 37 years and has been a world touring drummer and recording artist for over 18 years, that sat on his throne with the likes of Hollywood Undead, Earshot and Killer Kind. He is professionally educated in music at Baylor University and the California Institute of the Arts.  He was an instructor at the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood for six years and currently conducts online drum lessons on his YouTube channel.
