Loton, Corp’s (OTC: LIVX ) LiveXLive subsidiary has entered into an agreement securing the worldwide multi-year streaming rights for Rock in Rio, the largest music and entertainment event in the world. LiveXLive will power the HD digital broadcast of each and every night of Rock In Rio to viewers across the world on any connected device.

In the 15 previous Rock in Rio Events, 1,274 artists have played to more than 7.5 million people. The 30(th) anniversary celebration in Rio de Janeiro kicks off September 18(th) with seven days of performances from the top recording, multi-platinum artists in the world including: Katy Perry, Metallica, Rihanna, Elton John, Rod Stewart, John Legend, Motley Crüe, Sam Smith, Seal, Queen + Adam Lambert, One Republic, Queens of the Stone Age, and many more.

The four-year agreement includes exclusive rights to stream all Rock in Rio Events live across the globe with the exception of China, Brazil, and Portugal in addition to allowing viewers to access the content on demand. LiveXLive will also shoot exclusive content from the venues and hosting cities – Rio, Lisbon, and Las Vegas.
