Sugarland Reunited Again!!

It is so nice to see Sugarland reunited again!!! It was a little over four Years ago that the two country stars decided to go separate ways in their career but thank god in December of 2017 it was confirmed that they are back together. Today they made it to the BOK Center in Tulsa OK to put on a great show for their fans and by just looking around me I can most definitely tell how excited everybody is to see the great country music duo perform.

Lindsay Ell started the show followed by Frankie Ballard; both performers put on amazing performances and prepared the crowd for the main event. The atmosphere kept getting better and better and the audience was fired up and ready for Sugarland to take the stage.

Sugarland started out by playing a video clip talking about the song bigger and knowing your own worth. The country duo wants their music to speak to people a certain way because it is very important to them to make the world a better place. Their main mission is to stop poverty in the world and they believe that if everybody helps just a little bit, then it can be achieved. There are just too many children in the world that go to bed hungry every night and it needs to end. So for this to happen Sugarland created a link for people to go to and sign up to help with their mission. Join Sugarland and help sponsor a child by texting the word BIGGER to 44888, then click the link and put in the info. Sugarland  has set the goal of helping 2000 kids by the end of this tour, But you never know, they might be able to get more kids sponsored with everybody’s help…..Let’s make it happen!!!

I thought it was a great idea to play the video before the show and one really awesome thing was that the country duo invited 2 people, who signed up to help their mission, to join them on stage and take a picture with them. Also, everybody who had purchased a concert ticked received a free download for their new album Bigger. How awesome is that!!!

Sugarland started their set and the crowd went crazy. The crowd cheered, applauded, screamed and everybody instantly was up on their feet and out of their chairs. They started out with the song “Bigger” which I personally thought was a great choice to start out the show supporting their mission. Next they played some well-known songs which were “All I Want To Do”, “Stuck Like Glue”, “Want To” and “Already Gone” which these songs were a huge hit with the audience and almost everybody knew the lyrics and sang along.

After playing many of the bands better known songs they started playing the song “Lean It On Back” from the new CD, followed by “Little Miss”, “Trailer Hitch” and “Unlove me”. I must say Jennifer Nettles is such a great artist and it looked like Sugarland had so much fun on the stage and you could really see how much they enjoyed being back together as the country duo. There was never a dull moment and the atmosphere in the BOK center was incredible, and everyone appeared to be having fun.

Time flew by too fast as Sugarland kept the songs coming, but that’s the way it goes when you’re having fun. Before you know it the show is over and I don’t think I was the only one who felt this way. Many people could have kept on listening to them perform, but every good thing must come to an end.

Thanks to Sugarland and the BOK center for putting on such a great show. If Sugarland is in your area please go and see them and bring your friends and be ready for a fun time.
