PUNT GORDA, Fla., April 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The stars are aligning over SW Florida as some of the biggest names in country music roll into the entertainment grounds at one of the biggest outdoor theme parks in the nation. Reba McEntire, Hank Williams Jr, Billy Currington, Big & Rich, Chris Young, Charlie Daniels, Jamey Johnson, 38 Special, Gloriana, Tracy Lawrence and more will be kicking off the festivities April 24-26 at the all new Florida Tracks & Trails in Punta Gorda. The Illinois based “Country Life Music Festival” has expanded it’s brand to Florida and will be producing the event at the 56 acre entertainment zone at FTT.
This is a special “sneak peak” of the park for festival ticket holders only, explains Rachael Ketterman, Marketing Director for FTT. “Admission to the park will be limited to only those attending the festival. The Park is anticipated to open sometime in May to the general public.” The 1000-acre park contains 22 miles of off-road-vehicle trails; four motocross tracks; 80 acres of paintball fields; a 12-acre, freshwater beach and lake; and 56-acre event grounds, which will play host to concerts, rodeos and more.
“This venue is amazing, there is nothing like this in this part of the Country”, says Brad Maloney, VP of Operations for Blu Entertainment Group and Founder of Country Life. “Folks are just not going to believe their eyes when it is complete. It is an outdoorsman paradise, a great destination for families and the perfect venue for our festival brand.” Maloney started the “Country Life Festival” brand near Peoria, Il which has grown to be the biggest country festival in the state.
The Florida version of the Country Life Music Festival is April 24-26, and features a great mix of Legends and new comers. Billy Currington kicks it off on Friday night with Jamey Johnson, followed by a lineup of Hank Jr, Big & Rich and Charlie Daniels on Saturday. “You better take your vitamins before coming to the show”, says John Rich of the famed duo Big & Rich, “Hydrate before you get here because we’re going to kick your country butt.” The “Queen of Country” Reba McEntire will grace the stage on Sunday night with openers Chris Young and Tracy Lawrence.
