Zac Brown Band

The Zac Brown Band, three-time GRAMMY winners and multi-platinum artists, have become one of music’s most heralded acts. The band’s three platinum-selling albums, Uncaged, You Get What You Give, and The Foundation, and their 2013 project The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1, have together sold over seven million copies. Topped by the three week #1 reign for “Homegrown”, Zac Brown Band claims a historic series of twelve #1 hit singles across their career. “Homegrown” is the first single from their forthcoming album JEKYLL + HYDE out April 28th on Southern Ground Artists/John Varvatos Records/Big Machine Label Group/Republic Records.

Zac Brown BandThis band has been crisscrossing the USA for years building a loyal following of fans that are rabid fans of Zac’s and his band of down home country boys. The Jekyll and Hyde Tour is one of this years top tours and after seeing their performance I can see why. After the opening song they had the crowd getting into it. The third song into the set they did their on version of “Enter The Sandman” by METALLICA. They followed that up with a Van Morrison song that I wasn’t expecting to see a “Country Band” like Zac Brown do.  Wow!

It truly was a Jekyll meets Hyde moment for sure. Their two hour concert was filled with surprise after surprise.  They even did a rendition of Queen’s song, Bohemian Rhapsody, towards the end of concert.

During one part of the show Zac stopped and spoke to the crowd about a charity that he started for kids that he has in Georgia. Camp Southern Ground is a camp for Autistic and ADHD, kids so that they have a place for them to go to in the summers. The mission of the camp “is to operate a camp to allow children to overcome academic, social and emotional difficulties so they may reach their full potential and provide the tools necessary to achieve excellence in all facets of their lives.”  (www.campsouthernground.org) The camp is used for military families as well and is deserving of your support.

Zac Brown BandThe whole show was a Jekyll and Hyde moment. The Zac Brown Band is a must see for fun loving concert goers. The next time they come to my area I will definitely catch them for sure. They now have a new fan, RocmanRocks
