Fender Unveils “American Elite Series” at NAMM

NAMM 2016-4854At the 2016 NAMM Show, the American Elite Series had fans buzzing about Fender’s newest and most high-performance electric guitar and bass line.

Attendees were welcomed into the Fender Showcase by a pair of “exploded” American Elite guitars, 360-degree works of art crafted by Austin, Texas, artist John A. Peralta. The exploded Stratocaster and Telecaster allows the viewer to see each intricate part of the guitar when looking at it from an angle, while they look perfectly assembled from straight-on.

Ahead of the guitar sculptures, the Fender American Elite series was on full display, with an array of Elite Stratocasters, Telecasters, Precision Basses, Jazz Basses and Dimension Basses arranged in front of the line’s “Built for the Pursuit” iconography.

Throughout NAMM, interested parties were able to chat with Fender experts about the many innovations spread across American Elite guitars and basses, like fourth-generation Noiseless pickups, a compound neck shape and an asymmetrical neck heel.

“The concept here is that we have all is that we have all our best high-performance features on our classic designs,” said Fender Product Development Manager Allen Abbassi.
