Gulf Coast Records Artists Albert Castiglia, Billy Price, Jimmy Carpenter Nominated for 2020 Independent Blues Awards

   Gulf Coast Records placed three of their artists in the just-announced 2020 Independent Blues Awards. They are guitarist Albert Castiglia (“Contemporary Blues CD” “Blues Rock Band” “Stage Performance” “Road Warrior” “Blues Rock Song” “Song For The Common Good” “Music Video”); blues/soul vocalist Billy Price (“Traditional Blues CD” “R&B Song” “Song For The Common Good”); and saxophonist Jimmy Carpenter (“R&B/Soul CD”). Gulf Coast Co-Owner Mike Zito was also nominated in several categories (“Live CD” “Male Artist”  “Music Video” “Stage Performance” “Road Warrior” “Producer/Engineer”). Gulf Coast Records was founded by Mike Zito and Guy Hale in 2018. Based in Nederland, TX, the label focuses on Regional Roots, Blues and Americana. The mutual passion of both Zito and Hale is to help artists them get their music out to the world. Gulf Coast Records boasts a diverse, talented artist roster.
