Messer, Messer, Messer

Messer, Messer, Messer

The band is called Messer, the debut album is entitled Messer and in our interview with the band, I sit down with Maddox and Dereak Messer, The show at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano was one of the stops on tour with Scott Stapp (Voice of Creed) and Sunflower Dead. These three bands make a great line up and many of the nights sold out on this North American tour called The Space between the Shadows.

I went to the September 15th show and now days later, I still have MESSER tunes playing in my head! I went to see Scott Stapp and Sunflower Dead, but looks like I got MESSERIZED in the process.  Messer’s live show is an audio and visual experience that is felt by your whole body. These guys are fully present on stage and give 1,000 percent from beginning to end. It’s great to find a new band with talent, a positive attitude and a bright future.  The whole show was amazing!

Their self-titled debut was released in 2018 with impressive results on the US Mainstream Rock Radio charts. The song “Save Myself” charted at #28 and “Make This Life” reached #25 and their single “Simple Man” charted for 28 weeks with a high spot of #23.  Simple Man has over 2 Million spins on Spotify alone.  They have 3 official music videos out, one for each of the previously mentioned songs.

Focused and dedicated, this hard working band from Texas is in it for the duration and they have Messer logo tattoos to prove it!   Messer performed 150 shows last year and will have done another 150 by the end of this year.  After shows, they can often be found at the merch table interacting with fans.   They carry a vision of world domination and spreading their carefully constructed brand of music.

Messer is modern rock band that taps into the ancient practice of using the Solfeggio Frequencies such as 528 Hz.  This system is way old, going all the way back to 1000 B.C. The Gregorian Monks would chant these sounds, believing they carried metaphysical healing power.  This belief was shared by the Egyptians, Hebrews, Tibetans and Italians.

In current times, we now know that these sounds have properties based on ratios of wavelengths. The science is there to back it up. It’s mathematical and falls under sacred geometry. Everything in the universe is made of waves of energy, including our cells.  Music travels in waves, we absorb these soundwaves.

Most music is tuned to A=440Hz.  This is because a standard pitch system was adopted by the music industry and became the international standard in London in 1953.  Why? Why was it changed?   Was it to keep the sacred sounds hidden to be passed down to just the members of certain secret societies or bloodlines?  Makes you wonder.

The standard A=440Hz is thought to cause stress, disharmony and unstable emotions. A=432Hz on the other hand is in alignment with the universe and carries valuable healing energy.  It is known as pure energy which resonates with our true selves.  Powerful healing results when the vibrational energies interact with our bodies.  Mozart tuned to it back in the day and that is exactly what Messer is doing now.  Shazam!

In our interview Maddox talks about it and he also shares a story of finding a message in a bottle while filming the video for “Make This Life”. He found what he thought was an empty wine bottle in the alley behind the spot they were filming, to use as a prop, but come to find out it wasn’t empty at all.  The bottle contained a bizarre, but remarkable message.   Watch the video to hear Maddox tell the story!  Here’s the message.  Check it out.
