Crimson Coil is a San Diego, California based progressive rock and blues band. Formed in January 2020, the band was forced to write and grow virtually, as the Covid 19 shutdowns were soon to follow. With her exhilarating vocals, professional opera singer Barbara Tobler leads Crimson Coil, as they show tribute to iconic heavy-hitting rock and pop divas of the late 60‘s through the 80’s. Featuring soulful originals with a firecracker edge, many of which were inspired by the tragedy of the pandemic, Crimson Coil will take you on an unforgettable journey. Band members also include Michael Williams on lead guitar, James Knight on bass, Greg Kluthe on keyboards, and Dan Leone on drums.
