The Women’s International Music Network (the WiMN) announces that nominations are now open for the seventh annual She Rocks Awards honoring women in the music industry, which will return to the House of Blues Anaheim on January 25, 2019 during the NAMM Show.

The She Rocks Awards honors trailblazing women from all areas of the industry. Past honorees include Pat Benatar, Melissa Etheridge, The B-52s, Colbie Caillat, Sheila E., Chaka Khan, Ronnie Spector; Lita Ford, Esperanza Spalding, The Bangles, Shirley Manson and many others – from educators, to label execs, manufacturers, non-profits, media and more.

We look forward to honoring more leaders from all corners of the music industry who pave the way and inspire other women, and so we invite everyone to nominate an exemplary woman and share her story,” notes Laura B. Whitmore, founder of the Women’s International Music Network.

All are encouraged to nominate women who stand out in the music industry. The deadline to submit nominations is September 1, 2018. Nominations can be submitted at www.thewimn.com/nominations/.
