In keeping with its tradition of staging exciting, world-class entertainment, Pala Casino Resort’s 2019 initial summer concert series has been announced. The 2019 concert season’s wide selection of genres, generational music, and comedy suggests it could be an amalgamation of several concert series rolled into one. The summer concert series will be held outdoors at Pala’s one-of-a-kind Starlight Theater. An outdoor amphitheater with seating up to 2,451, the Starlight Theatre is nestled within the beautiful Palomar Mountains. The combination of the surrounding beauty added to the open summer sky provides a unique entertainment experience for concert goers. The Starlight Theater has a permanent stage, which measures 40 feet by 60 feet, and provides state-of-the art sound and LED lighting, along with a new, high-definition, two-screen video system.
The Starlight Theater has a strong reputation for hosting some of the biggest names in entertainment. Previous headline acts include Sammy Hagar, Rascal Flatts, The Beach Boys, Jeff Dunham, Tony Bennett, Huey Lewis & The News and more. “Pala has always taken great pride in being able to povide Northern San Diego concert-goers with quality entertainment at a fair price,” commented Michael Maines, Director of Entertainment and Theater of Pala Casino, Spa and Resort. “The Starlight Theater is such a unique venue; it’s truly something any fan of concert music should experience for themselves.”
