If you are a music lover in San Diego, then you have probably heard of The Six String Society. This broad-ranging music theater production company is making waves all over the greater San Diego County area. Production creator, Kenneth Rexrode, goes beyond the norm when it comes to showcasing our local talent and entertaining their guests. Choosing various small premier venues throughout the county, The Six String Society’s productions, sell out again and again.
The Six String Society’s 4th annual Mardi Gras cruise is about to embark for another party on the water and this uber-popular event is sure to follow its predecessors and sell out before it sets sails at sunset on Saturday, March 14th.
The elegant, Steer wheeler, William D. Evans, plays hosts to this annual event. Situated in San Diego’s Mission Bay, alongside the Bahia Hotel, VIP guests will board the anchored vessel at 5:00 pm and be presented with a dinner buffet, bar service, and live entertainment until 6:30 pm. The gangplank will then be opened for general admission guests and the sternwheeler will set sail into Mission Bay.
Over the next 4 hours, you will enjoy, stunning views, bar service, colorfully costumed guests, face painting, local and international music. The three-story sternwheeler will be alive with music and dancing in the first and second-floor salons and the open deck throughout the entire cruise, up to the time the ship slides back into port.
