Steel Panther – Party All Day

Stitched Up Heart

Tonight, was the second night of the KATT’S “Wreck the Halls” celebration, featuring Steel Panther. My husband and I knew it was going to be a fun show and we were going to be well entertained at the Diamond Ballroom in OKC. The band originated in Los Angeles, California and is known for its Comedy rock. The current band members are lead singer Ralph Michael Saenz, known under his stage name Michael Starr; lead guitar player Russell John Parrish, known under his stage name Satchel; Bass player Travis Haley, known under his stage name Lexxi Foxx who is the glamorous diva on stage and can’t get enough of his mirror and lip gloss and last but not least the drummer Darren Leader, known under his stage name Stix Zadinia.

The house was fully packed which didn’t surprise me at all with a great band like Steel Panther.

When the show finally started, Stitched Up Heart, a gothic metal/hard rock band from Los Angeles-California, took the stage and opened with their high energy song “This Skin”. Followed by another great rock song called “Warrior”. The lead singer Alecia Demner is not just gorgeous but also has some amazing vocals that she showed off tonight. From looking around I could see that the audience truly enjoyed the bands performance and had a blast. The show went on with the songs “Catch Me When I Fall”, “Problems”, Finally Free”, “Lost” and as the last one “Monster”. The band has a new album release in spring 2020 which is called Darkness. Make sure you check it out and download it on I-Tunes or other social sides you can get it on. It will defiantly be worth your while. I am looking forward for Stitched Up Heart to come back in this area because I for sure will go and see them again.

Finally, the sexy guys in their 80’s outfits took the stage to start a fun, unforgettable show. Oh my god, let me tell you it was a crazy show. The guys started out with “Eyes of a Panther”, a great song to open the show with high electricity getting the crowd charged up. After performing a couple of songs it was time for some stand up comedy, if you can call it that. The guys were standing on stage talking about girls and sex and boobs in a very comical matter. After we got some good laughs and Lexxi got the mirror out to put on some more lip gloss and admire himself the evening continued with more of the great songs. Another highlight of the show was when the band performed  “Asian Hookah” and actually invited an Asian fan who’s birthday it was, to join them on stage, just so they could sing to her and make her feel very special. And believe me when I say she felt special, she really did, after she got to dance with Michael and got her butt rubbed. We “ Party Like Tomorrow Is The End Of The World” and rocked

out to  “Poontang Boomerang”. After all this partying it was time for Satchel to show how fast he can move his fingers by performing an outstanding solo on his guitar. This guy really knows his business on shredding it. The evening continued with “Fuck Everybody” and “Ain’t Buying What You’re Selling”. Before we knew it, it was time for another audience member to come on stage. Her name was Hannah and the band sang a special song just for her called “Weenie Ride”. OK, the song might not be written just for her but they made her feel like it was while they were trying to get her to show her boobs. It was pretty funny to see fans actually give her 5$ bills so she would flash them like girls do on the Jerry Springer show but Hannah didn’t flash. From here out on the party just kept on getting wilder. By the time we reached the song “Party All Day” the stage was filled with women and some of them did flash their boobs while having fun. It’s funny what a group of guys in 80’s outfits can make the girls do. The rest of the show was a true blast and everybody in the house partied hard. Time flew by so fast while we were dancing, singing, laughing and just having the best time. My husband seen these guys three times already and trust me, it will not be my last time seeing them either. I will defiantly see the crazy, funny group of guys again. You want to see a one of a kind band who makes fun out of the 80’s bands in their own way then you just found the right group. Go and see them if they are in your area!!!
