In its quest to help bring #PeacethroughMusic, The Jerry Garcia Foundation and Hard Rock Cafe will present a WhyHunger Holiday Benefit at 7 p.m. on December 18, 2015, at Hard Rock Cafe San Francisco. All door proceeds will benefit the IMAGINE THERE’S NO HUNGER campaign. Inspired by John Lennon and his iconic song “IMAGINE,” the global campaign strives to turn his dream of a world with no hunger into a reality. For the eighth year, Yoko Ono Lennon joins Hard Rock International and WhyHunger in support of that mission. Proceeds from Hard Rock’s campaign will directly benefit WhyHunger and its grassroots partners worldwide, working to advance long-term solutions to hunger and poverty by supporting community-based organizations that empower individuals and build self-reliance.

“We have so much gratitude to all those coming together to raise awareness and support for this great cause. Music and the arts continue to change the world for the better.” -Keelin Garcia, Co-Founder of The Jerry Garcia Foundation

“Compassion creates peace. When human needs for sustenance and nourishment are met, we move toward a more peaceful planet. We are honored to share the arts to support John and Yoko’s vision of peace through the IMAGINE campaign. The Jerry Garcia Foundation supports artistic, environmental and humanitarian causes, and working with Hard Rock Cafe San Francisco on IMAGINE THERE’S NO HUNGER makes perfect sense for us.” -Manasha Garcia, Co-Founder of The Jerry Garcia Foundation
